A spectacular 10th anniversary tour to beautiful Majorca! I am well aware that the finessed and flawless execution was the result of hours and hours of hard work and planning. I am very proud to be associated with Change a Life and feel privileged to have been invited and to participate in such an event.

The Change a Life Majorca Tour 2017

The 2017 Change a Life Cycle Tour heads to the playground of the international rich and famous, the place that inspired Chopin and Miro with its crystal blue seas, palm-lined beaches and multi-cultural history. Majorca, the largest of the Spanish islands in the Balearic archipelago.

Majorca was a true cycling mecca but also a wonderful experience of the warmth, colour, tastes and flamboyance of Spanish culture. We cycled for four days, three of which were on gently undulating routes, passing beautiful Mediterranean scenery and quaint villages as we covered approximately 120 kms a day.

We could not visit the training ground of professional cyclists without taking on some climbing challenges and so there was a choice of two mountainous routes on the fourth day – both were challenging but one was extreme and better suited to our racing snakes.

When in Spain, we did as the Spaniards did, so the format of the tour differed slightly from previous tours as we made the most of the wonderful hospitality, cuisine, cycling support resources and seemingly endless daylight that Majorca has to offer. We started cycling a little later than usual, so there was plenty of time in the morning to enjoy an amazing breakfast spread. We stayed at one resort for the duration of the tour, so our participants could settle in and enjoy every moment of their stay.
